Unless you were living in a cave last summer, you probably already know what Connect the Dots is—a totally open format video / photo contest, put on by King Shit andCONS. Last year (check out the Top 10 entries and the winning videoand photos) 28 teams battled it out for $5,000 in a winner-take-all contest.
This year, we’ve doubled the prize money to $10,000 and added two new prize categories. We’re also giving people a full month to put their projects together. So you’re nuts if you don’t put a team together and enter this year. Turn the page for more details.
1) BEST OVERALL – $5,000
2) BEST SKATEBOARDING – $2,500
3) MOST CREATIVE – $2,500

BBQ, homies, graffiti, DRINKZ, skateboarding and sunnnnn … going on all day at the Deeg … come on down …

Chris Dyer … one talented ass artist and avid skateboarder finally made his way to the Deeg to bless us with some color, mystique and positive vibes this week.

I think ev’ry one is pretty f-ing stoked.
Coincidentally the putting down of this piece comes as Chris’ new film Positive Creations: The Movie gets released on DVD with plenty of art, inspiration and skateboarding … some notable cameos in the movie include : Karl Watson, Ron Allen, Barry Walsh, Danny Fuenzalida, Nilton Neves, Andy Howell, and more … CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE WEBSITE for the film.
You can buy the movie from his website, if you’re lurking at the UA ramp … and i’ll try to see if we can get a few off of him on consignment for the shop … so you guys can pick one up at the Deeg also.
Thanks Chris!!!

So the Project 45 guys with RVCA, Vans and Underworld did a little event for Go Skateboarding Day … the park was packed and full of rippers. Fuck MTL has some good ass skaters.

I jacked some of Yannick’s photos from the Project 45 blog … I was stoked to see pics from 3 of our resident NDG SCVMbags up there …

The park is definitely sick as fuck and only gonna get better … the bowl section is gonna be bananas once done.
